Automotive Supply Chain

Total Cybersecurity for automotive supply chains. Designed to meet the industry's most advanced guidelines.

The modern automobile and related forms of transportation have evolved into  computers. Today’s vehicles have 100’s of Embedded Control Units (ECU's) including wireless communications, manufactured by a global network of diverse suppliers, many small and medium sized businesses.  This poses a significant challenge to the OEM who must ensure adequate cybersecurity across their supply-chain to protect their intellectual property and cyber integrity of the final product. Cytellix® has the solution.

Background

There is a strong move to cloud and cybersecurity in Automotive.  The modernization of on-premises applications to cloud investments is creating an increase in Cyber and Information Security spending in the Automotive Industry.

Key Focus of Modernization Include:

  • Cyber/Information Security
  • Cloud Platforms
  • Business Intelligence/Data Analytics
  • Digital Business Transformation
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML)

As in all other supply chain verticals,  weakest link in any supply chain is the supply base.  The Automotive Industry is managing a very large supply chain and while management does not equal security, the ultimate responsibility for security falls directly on the OEM.  To protect the information and to maintain integrity of the supply chain risk, Cytellix® created a highly affordable cybersecurity platform.

Guidelines

The first guideline, titled “Cyber Security 3rd Party Information Security”, was announced by the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) in 2018. Participating in their creation were information security leaders and executives from GM, Ford, FCA and Honda, with input from their counterparts at Toyota, Nissan, Caterpillar, Bosch, Continental and Magna.

In addition, the automotive sector is increasingly leveraging the National Institute of Standards,  Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity frameworks, International Organization for Standardization (ISO) designed to further protect OEMs and suppliers from intellectual property losses, as well as aggressive cyber attacks on individual suppliers.

Solution

To ensure best-in-class innovation and effectiveness, Cytellix® leverages NIST and ISO frameworks, together with our expert teams/technologies developed a dynamic solution that delivers:
